In 2016 we spent the day at Chilled in a Filed Festival at the Hop Farm in Kent - after a little break last year Chilled in a Field Festival returns to the Bentley Wildfowl and Motor Museum in East Sussex from August 3rd to 5th, 2018.
Chilled in a Field Festival is a small family-friendly festival - a great one if you've not done a festival with kids before to break them in gently. Having kids doesn’t mean you have to miss out on amazing live music and DJs until late into the night - the festival has grown from the 90's London party-scene. Plus you get to camp in the beautiful grounds of the Bentley Estate!
Our kids loved all the free activities there were arts and crafts, swings, mural painting, a glitter shower and of course bands, musicians and awesome dance music from some of the UK's top independent labels. You'll find plenty to eat and drink too and it's all very reasonably priced.
Guests can indulge in the festival spa or a dip in the woodfired hot tub and sauna while your kids play safely or ride the mini steam train around the festival site.
Chilled in a Field is a not-for-profit, environmentally conscious social gathering, where adults and children can make new friends, discover new experiences and enjoy nature, as well as having a whole lot of fun.
