Sleeping Beauties - boho sleeping bags

With summer and festival season fast approaching and the fact that we will be camping (and glamping) this summer - I really wanted to see if there were some pretty sleeping bags on the market. I love bright colours and patterns but our sleeping bags are the standard blue, black or khaki - luckily I came across Sleeping Beauties.

These beautiful creations can be unzipped to make a lovely throw for your bed or sofa as well as being a gorgeous addition to a festival, holiday or glamping trip.

Geo Dreaming is inspired by Ibiza: Chilled vibes, blue sea, cocktails, white sand, yoga, sun cream.....

I totally love it! Literally - I squealed when I opened the parcel. This is a season 2 sleeping bag which is suitable for summer and spring. It's 100% cotton with 100% poly filling and I love the fact it has a matching pillow case and eye-mask.

Each sleeping bag is unique in colour and pattern, there is a concealed pocket, it rolls up into a bag with shoulder straps so it's easy to carry, the zip puller will either have a tassel or pompom attached. I have to say - it is beautifully made and very comfortable.

Wild floral: Inspired by Coachella.

Fly Away Floral: Inspired by British summertime.

Vintage Patchwork: Inspired by vintage shops in Berlin.

Ditsy Mashup: Inspired by the catwalks.

Indian Tapestry: Inspired by Glastonbury.

Leah came up with the idea for Sleeping Beauties whilst planning a friend’s glamping wedding and during a trip to the Coachella Festival in Los Angeles. There was nothing else on the market and the idea was sewn.

Leah is a London-based fashion designer originally from Devon, she's worked for major UK high street and international fashion brands for more than 10 years, including ASOS, Next and Miss Selfridge.

Fashion buying trips to LA, Ibiza and India and global backpacking jaunts helped her to create the wonderful collection.

She says: "My friends and I loved sleeping in all the different designs in yurts and tipis at the Cornwall wedding, and I hope you enjoy during your own adventures."

We really can't wait to test this out at the festivals this year - in the meantime, it will sit pretty indoors as a throw and used to snuggle up in.
